Where to Stay When Visiting Universal Studios Japan (USJ)

I visit Universal Studios Japan about once a month, so I thought I would share the best places to stay near the park.
Unlike Tokyo Disney, Universal Studios Japan (USJ) isn’t too far to get to if you’re staying in Osaka. For instance, both Umeda and Namba are less than a 30-minute train ride from USJ.
Klook even offers a direct bus from Dotonbori to Universal Studios Japan if you don’t want to take the rush hour train. How great is that? (I do not live near Dotonbori so I sadly can’t take advantage of this!)
But of course, if you want to make the most use of your time and don’t want to deal with crowded trains, it’s best to stay close to USJ. In fact, although I live in Osaka, my daughter always wants to stay at a USJ hotel. (And I don’t blame her!)

This is the closest hotel to Universal Studios Japan. In fact, you can see the entrance of the park from the front door!
