Looking for family-friendly hair salons in Osaka that offer services for both parents and children?

In this article, I’ll share great places that cater to customers of all ages. These salons are not necessarily English-speaking, but are open to using Google Translate.

I highly recommend making a reservation in advance if you plan on visiting one of these salons after 5 PM or on weekends.

Note that prices are subject to change, especially considering inflation, so please be understanding if a salon tells you the prices are higher than what I share below.

Also, you don’t necessarily have to go to kid-friendly salons to have your child’s hair cut. Many salons will accept children, but for first haircuts and very young kids, a child-friendly salon might be best.

Notably, aisle offers a private room just for clients coming with their kids.

Family Salon PEACE

This hair salon has cute car-shaped seats for kiddos getting a haircut as well as a play area with toys, books, and tablets.

They offer a variety of services for adults (cut, color, treatment, hair spa, treatment, perms, hair straightening), but I also like that they have parent-child package sets as well. For instance, while your kid gets a haircut, you can get a head spa and treatment at the same time.

Lastly, if you’re wondering where my daughter got her hair done in the first picture, it’s the salon at the Anpanman Museum in Kobe!

This salon usually requires a reservation in advance, although if you go first thing in the morning on a weekday, you might be lucky enough to score a spot. They don’t offer haircuts for adults, though
